Matt and Allison Katula will be special guests, hosting a player table.
Matt Katula played his college football at the University of Wisconsin. He spent four years as the Badgers' long snapper, playing in 48 of 51 possible games.
After college Matt signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He saw action in all 16 games as a rookie, and snapped for every special teams play. During 2005 he also recorded 10 special teams tackles, the most by a long snapper.
After playing in every game from 2005 through 2007, Matt was signed by the Ravens to a five-year contract extension in 2008. He again played in every Ravens game during the next two seasons.
Following his release before the start of the 2010 season, Matt signed in early November with New England and took over long snap duties for the Patriots for the balance of the year.
Matt has not missed a game in his NFL career. He has 26 career regular season special teams tackles and four special teams stops in post season play.
The Matt Katula Foundation exists to provide for the growth and development of community sports programs. Since 2007 the non-profit organization has awarded grants and provided guidance that help children achieve their goals.
Matt and his wife, Allison, have two daughters.
